   That’s hilarious!

   I remember that, on the x-country team, I was an exception in owning and wearing actual running shorts for practice. Indeed, I think the general trend was that the faster you were, the more different your shorts were from actual running shorts. Marz wore baggy khaki cargo shorts. But IIRC, you were something of an exception to that general trend of “fast = wears baggy, non-running shorts”.
