After Liz gave me a haircut, Phil decided that he wanted one just like it.
So here we are, entering 2010 with hopes held high and hair cropped short.

Assuming this is in readiness for your upcoming 100-miler, by how many milliseconds per mile does this improve your split times? Or is it just for better air conditioning along the route?

Beverly: Yeah, "milliseconds" is about right. It just seemed like time for a change, that's all.

Enjoy the "I want to look like dad" years while they last, because at some point they'll turn into the opposite. At that point, Phil will only want to wear his hair short if you grow yours down to your shoulders. 😉
