Milestones

My son turns 7 this weekend. Also, he and I are moving in with my girlfriend, Leila.

As I contemplate the three of us living together, I’m reminded of a practical joke Phil played on me last year. When he found out that one of the toothbrushes in our bathroom was Leila’s, he arranged her toothbrush and mine with their bristles passionately interlocked.

I thought that was pretty clever for a not-yet-6-year-old.
